C. M. Shafee is a filmmaker who lives and breathes stories — a graduate of Luminar Film Academy who has built a strong foundation across all aspects of cinema, from scripting to direction.
He began his career as an Assistant Director in Malayalam cinema, developing a sharp instinct for narrative craft and on-set discipline from the ground up.
Shafee went on to work as an Associate Scriptwriter in Tamil cinema, and as an Associate Director on notable OTT projects and commercials — broadening his creative range across industries and formats.
In addition to collaborative work, he has independently directed short films recognised for their depth, originality, and narrative strength — each one carrying a distinct and deliberate creative voice.
